Researcher at the Division of Fluid Mechanics
KTH Royal Institute of Technology
Marco Laudato is a researcher in the Division of Fluid Mechanics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Marco was awarded a MSc in Physics in 2016 at the University of Napoli Federico II, Italy, and a PhD in Applied Mathematics at 2021 at L’Aquila University, Italy. His expertise lies in fluid mechanics, machine learning, and aeroacoustics. He is currently principal investigator of a research project focused on modelling cardiovascular pathologies by combining computational fluid mechanics with neural operator–based models. His work centres on harnessing the computational power of machine learning to develop multi-scale blood flow models with unprecedented physical detail and resolution. In 2024, he received the Göran Gustafsson Young Scientist Award.
