Eindhoven University of Technology
Part of the pyfar team.
Marco Berzborn is a postdoctoral researcher working on characterization and modeling of acoustic materials using inverse methods. His further research focuses on the spatiotemporal analysis and quantification of sound fields in reverberation rooms. Further research interests include microphone and loudspeaker array-based measurement and synthesis methods for directionally dependent reverberation.
Since 2016 he is one of the core maintainers of the ITA-Toolbox for MATLAB and since 2018 an active developer of open source Python packages for acoustic signal processing, visualization, and analysis, which finally started the pyfar initiative, a collection of Python packages intended for researchers in various fields of acoustics.
