Marin obtained his M.Sc. in mechanical engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb (Croatia) in 2021. He is a second year PhD student at TU/e within the Control Systems Technology group (Mechanical Engineering department) working on active control of pressure disturbances in water circuits, under the supervision of Prof. Hans Vermeulen and Prof. Claire Bourquard. Prior to starting his PhD, he worked as a CAE engineer/structural analyst from 2021 to 2022 at INETEC-Institute for Nuclear Technology, Lučko, Croatia and afterwards from 2022 to 2024 as a simulation engineer of multibody systems and NVH (noise vibration and harshness) problems at AVL-AST, Zagreb, Croatia.
