Fabian Brinkmann is head of the Binaural Processing and Perception team in the Audio Communication Group at Technische Universit¨ at Berlin, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2019. His research focuses on signal processing and evaluation approaches for spatial audio, including perception- and model-based evaluations, as well as the development of algorithms for room acoustic simulation and binaural rendering. He is also one of the developers of the Python packages for acoustics research (pyfar) and Mesh2HRTF, and AKTools.
