Senior scientist
Fraunhofer IIS

Albert Prinn is a senior scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS) in Germany. He received the MSc and EngD degrees in engineering acoustics and computational acoustics from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom, in 2009 and 2014, respectively. As a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Southampton, he continued research into finite element methods for aircraft engine noise predictions. In 2017, he joined Fraunhofer IIS as a researcher for computational room acoustics. His research activities center around the development and applications of computational tools for modeling room acoustics and estimating acoustic parameters from measured signals.
